Youth Sports

Daddy & Me Gym Time & Mommy too!

Every other SUN, 9/12, 9/26, 10/10, 10/24, FREE to members

Parents and their children play a structured gym game and have refreshments. Gym games will consist of obstacle courses, tag games, T-ball, throwing and kicking activities and other fun gym activities. Parents must be present. Contact: Tom Gallagher 348-4511

Parents' Night Out

SAT, 8/21,9/11, 10/16, 6-10pm, $20 per child/$10 additional, $25nm/$10 additional nm, Ages 5-12

This awesome Saturday evening service that gives parents the opportunity to drop off their children at the JCC and enjoy a night out. The activities for the children will always be fun and exciting. Contact: Tom Gallagher 348-4511

Just for Kicks - Taekwondo

FRI, Ongoing, 3:15-4pm & 4:15-5pm, $45/month, Ages 4-12

Adaptive Taekwondo program for children with special needs, ie: ADD, ADHS, speech and language difficulties, Aspergers, and Sensory Integration Dysfunction. The class will consist of 10 students with special needs and 5 peer models.

Instructor Logan Gillespie has a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo and Hapkido.

Individual Basketball Clinics

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons.

Join Coach Tom as he works with you 1 on 1 to improve your basketball skill and techniques. $15 per 30 minute session (clients need to call in advance to schedule).

Wednesday Fun Day

No class during APS Winter or Spring Break.

Youth Resistance Training Course

MON/WED, 9/13-11/3, 5:15-6pm, $80mem/$120nm, Ages 8-12

This 45 minute class is a great way to get your children a fun and developmentally appropriate workout. Class is taught by Profitness staff and children will use medicine balls, dumbbells, bands and a good workout is guaranteed! Participants will learn proper weight lifting techniques while having fun. Classes run for 8 weeks.

Youth Fit & Games Class

TUE/THU, 9/14–10/19, 4:15–5pm, $70mem/$85nm, Ages 5-12

Participants will engage in a variety of activities ranging from cardio circuits to strength training programs involving plyometrics and agility training. There will also be fun team games for a great cardio workout. This class will also involve an evaluation, preparation, and testing session in accordance with the Presidential Fitness Challenge. Sports 101: Sports Extravaganza

SUN, 9/5–10/24, 12–12:45pm, $75mem/$90 nm, Ages 5–12

In this 7-week class, kids will try a variety of activities like basketball, kickball, t-ball, and croquet. This class builds gross motor skills and coordination while emphasizing fair play in a relaxed learning environment.

Sports Performance Training

Do you want to take your performance to the next level? JCC’s Sports Performance Training will help you improve your speed, explosiveness and strength. Whether you are competing in the collegiate level or want to make your high school team, this training will benefit you. Includes: pre-testing, 3 semi-private session per week, individualized workout routine and post testing.

Prices (Purchase trainings for 1-3 months):
One Month: $225 member/$250 non-member
Two-Month: $450 member/$500 non-member
Three-Month: $650/$725 non-member
Team Training: 2-sessions/week for 1-month with minimum of 5 athletes. $100 JCC member/$125 for non-member
