The JCC's Pro Fitness Center is situated primarily on the second floor of the JCC.

The 10,000+ square foot fitness facility contains the latest equipment — a complete cardiovascular line, resistance and stretching area, indoor track, and full service locker rooms with steam rooms.

The JCC's Pro Fitness Personal Training program provides quality individualized training to those who desire professional fitness instruction and motivation for goal attainment; easily accommodating the needs of all types of individuals, from the beginning exerciser to the elite athlete. Our certified personal fitness trainers will work with you to devise a program that is tailored to meet your personal fitness goals and interests, as well as provide the necessary guidance to achieve your personal best. From body transformation and health improvement to performance enhancement and rehabilitation, our staff has the education, credentials, expertise and resources to develop a program that will best meet your needs.

Fitness Consultation

Please enjoy a complimentary 1-hour Fitness Consultation with one of our Pro Fitness Personal Training Staff. Your Fitness Consultation will consist of 1) medical history and fitness goals review, 2) essential assessments including body composition, blood pressure etc. 3) exercise recommendation and instruction.

Precision Fitness

If body transformation is your goal, the Precision Fitness Program is for you! The Precision Fitness Program is based on Precision Nutrition™, a nutrition counseling program written by human performance and nutrition expert Dr. John Berardi. With the Precision Fitness Program, you will receive multiple resources including a cookbook, meal guides, and your own personal fitness team, consisting of a personal trainer and nutrition consultant, which will provide bi-weekly assessments and support. Start of a New Beginning

Packet includes the book of your choice and an orientation with a nutrition specialist and personal trainer to identify your needs and outline your program. Following the orientation, you will meet with your nutrition specialist and personal trainer twice each to start the foundation of a healthy lifestyle.

Your Personal Fitness Team

Packet includes the book of your choice and an orientation with a nutrition specialist and personal trainer to identify your needs and outline your program.Following the orientation you will meet with your nutrition specialist and personal trainer three times to establish a healthy lifestyle.

Focus on Food

This includes the book Gourmet Nutrition and an orientation with both the nutrition specialist and personal trainer to identify your needs and outline your program. Following the orientation you will meet with your nutrition specialist five times. These sessions with provide you with the knowledge to maintain a healthy eating lifestyle. You will also meet with your personal trainer twice to create a workout routine that supports your goals.

Gain Confidence in the Gym

This includes either Scrawny to Brawny or Metabolism Advantage and an orientation with both the nutrition specialist and personal trainer to identify your needs and outline your program. Following the orientation you will meet with your personal trainer five times. In these sessions, your trainer will provide you with a variety of routines that are tailored toward your goals. You will also meet with your nutrition specialist twice to create an eating pattern that will support your workouts to provide you optimal results.

Lifetime Bodybasics

Get set up on a start-up training program in 6-half hour sessions. This is a successful, time-tested method for any novice to get started in the gym. Learn lifting techniques that you can use the rest of your life! You will receive upper body and lower body resistance training programs, a core routine, and a cardio plan. Body Transformation Plan

Lose weight the right way with this multiphase workout and diet plan. This program is designed to help you lose fat while minimizing muscle loss. By properly combining the right amount of resistance training, fat burning cardio and nutrition it is possible to actually change your body composition in addition to losing weight. This plan includes four 1-hour personal training sessions and two nutritional counseling sessions.

You will receive:

  1. Upper body and lower body resistance training programs
  2. Nutrition Specialist assisted nutritional plan
  3. Fat burning cardio plan

The Muscle Building Crash Course

Learn how to build muscle fast! This program teaches some of the best methods to gain muscle mass in the gym. From supplementation to lifting techniques of the advanced body builder this program will get you on the fast track to making gains in the gym. This plan includes four 1-hour personal training sessions and two nutritional counseling sessions.

You will receive:

  2. Mass building diet plan
  3. Supplementation overview

Cardio Package

Maximize the benefits of your cardio routine! Our certified personal trainers will perform various heart rate tests to find out your true fitness level and maximal heart rate. After the testing you will receive a cardiovascular exercise prescription to make sure you are spending your time wisely and receiving the results that you are looking for! You will spend 2 hours with personal trainers; in which the first hour is assessments and the second hour you will receive your results, cardiovascular exercise prescription, and training on your new routine, which will help you reach your goals. JCC Sports Performance Training

Off season training for athletes at all levels. Whether you are competing in the collegiate level or want to make your high school team, this training will benefit you. The goal of the JCC Performance Training is to improve athletes' overall performance at their sports and give them an edge over their competition. These goals will be achieved through expert training with JCC's U.S.A weight lifting and Sports Performance Certified Coaches. Athletes will improve their speed, vertical jump, strength, explosiveness, agility and flexibility.

Sessions vary from 1-3 months, and include pre-post testing, 3 Semi-private training sessions/week and an individualized workout plan. For prices and more details, please call Susanna Pier at 348-4521.

Nutritional Counseling

When you think of nutritional counseling, you probably think of the word “diet,” and all of a sudden you're thinking about all the “diets” you've done that haven't worked. Nutritional counseling at the JCC is not about “diets,” it is about proper nutrition education and how to apply it to your circumstances, your goals, your body, and your lifestyle. Proper nutrition is the ONLY way to achieve optimal health, body composition, and performance. With so many conflicting and false nutrition claims out there, it is imperative to have the proper perspective and knowledge of how and what to eat. Genny Hawk, the JCC Nutrition Specialist, holds her degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and loves helping people make positive changes in their lives.
